Help once a month, once a week, or just for special events. Volunteering is a wonderful way to meet your 40-hour high school requirement, gain work experience, or support your local community.

Our History & MissionOver 25 Years of Community Support
The Parkwood Gardens Neighbourhood Group (PGNG) was formed in 1996 by a group of dedicated residents who wanted to create a supportive, active community in Guelph's West End. In partnership with the Guelph Neighbourhood Support Coalition (GNSC), we have grown from a small group into a vital community hub.
Today, we offer an array of free programs for children, youth, and adults, alongside critical social supports. PGNG is run by a volunteer Leadership Team, program coordinators, and community volunteers.
Programs are located in area schools (such as Gateway Drive P.S. and Taylor Evans P.S.), the West End Community Centre (WECC), and the Parkwood Gardens Church.
π― Our Core Goals

PGNG is committed to delivering inclusive, accessible, and respectful services affirming the dignity of those we serve, regardless of heritage, beliefs, ethnicity, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, capabilities, or socio-economic status.
